If your current flooring fails to meet your production needs or aesthetic preferences, get in touch with the flooring pros at Battleborn Concrete Coatings.
With our polyurea shop floor system, you’ll never have to choose between beauty and strength. Its durable, non-slip finish will protect your personnel while the polyurea material delivers long-lasting protection against all potential sources of damage—from chemical leaks to weighty vehicles and equipment!

More about polyurea shop floors
Why shops choose polyurea over epoxy
Shop floors take abuse that would crack or chip a rigid coating: dropped wrenches, rolling jacks, jack stands, creepers, and heavy equipment. Polyurea is significantly more flexible and impact resistant than standard epoxy, so it absorbs those hits instead of fracturing.
It also cures far faster. For a working auto or diesel shop, every day a bay is closed is lost revenue. With polyurea we can often coat a bay after close and have you back to work the next day.
Standing up to fluids and cleaning
Motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, and fuel stain bare concrete permanently and soften cheap coatings. A polyurea base with a chemical-resistant polyaspartic topcoat keeps those fluids on the surface so a quick wipe or degreaser cleans them up. The non-porous surface also makes it easier to meet stormwater and spill-control housekeeping expectations.
Safety striping and zones in the same project
We can lay out walkways, lift zones, tool-crib areas, and forklift lanes in contrasting colors while we coat, so you are not hiring a separate striping crew. Anti-slip aggregate can be added in wash bays and around lifts where fluids are common.
Benefits of polyurea shop floors
Fast return to service
Most areas reopen in a day, and we can phase large spaces around your schedule.
Chemical resistance
Holds up to oils, brake fluid, coolant, and common shop chemicals.
Flexible and tough
Polyurea is more flexible than epoxy, so it resists cracking from impacts and slab movement.
Built-in safety
Line striping, walkways, and slip-resistant texture can be installed in the same project.

Don't see your question?
Talk to the crew that will actually coat your floor. We answer the phone Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm.
Can you work after hours?
Yes. Ask about nights and weekends so your shop keeps running.
Do you handle large square footage?
We coat everything from single-bay shops to large warehouse floors. We phase the work so part of the space stays open.
Can a vehicle lift sit on polyurea?
Yes. We repair and prep around lift baseplates and can coat before or after a lift is installed.
Will oil-soaked concrete hold a coating?
Heavily saturated areas need to be ground and treated first. We assess contamination during the site walk.
Is polyurea good in an unheated building?
Yes. Its flexibility makes it well suited to unheated shops and hangars that swing from freezing nights to hot afternoons.
Can you add our logo or bay numbers?
We can add bay numbers, directional arrows, and simple color zones. Ask about logo options at your estimate.
